Every file on a Pragmatux device is owned by a Debian package. dpkg -V is the audit. No drift, no mystery files, no manual fixups.

One source, two workflows

The same signed .debs build factory images on a host (mmdebstrap) and apply field updates on the device (apt full-upgrade). Reproducible both ways.

Repository scopes

Debian, Pragmatux universal, board, and project archives compose through apt. Version suffixes disambiguate overrides; project-scoped mirrors give update-window control.

Binary distribution

Inherit Debian's sixty thousand packages. Fork only what you customize. Skip the cost of rebuilding the world that Yocto and Buildroot impose.
